Ideal Shield is a multifunctional, self-adhesive laminate protective jacket for outdoor applications. It provides a total vapor barrier over insulation on rooftop duct work, piping, and equipment. Our unique design offers repositioning and easy installation. Ideal Shield is an all-weather jacketing system that delivers savings in time, labor, and costs. It can also be used as a heavy-duty patch and repair tape and as a strapping tape for subsea pipe-in-pipe insulation. When a specification allows for “or equivalent” products, or where  Ideal  Seal 777 is already specified, Ideal Shield Jacketing is both the equivaltent  and replacement.  Ideal Shield is also available in Embossed White and Gloss White.
