Firestopping pipe through concrete has never been easier, thanks to 3M Fire Barrier Cast-In Devices. This remarkable system adjusts to any height between 2-1/2″ and 8″, and with the 3M Height Adaptor, it can adapt to any depth of concrete pour. It works for both metallic and non-metallic pipe, vented or closed piping  systems, and can firestop for up to three hours. Installation is done before the concrete is poured. The device can be used on flat forms. Or when used in conjunction with the 3M Fluted Metal Deck Adaptor, the device can be attached to a fluted metal deck. Once the concrete cures, the pipe can be passed through.
