3M Fire Barrier Plastic Pipe Device is a one-piece metallic collar assembly encasing 3M Fire Barrier FS-195 Intumescent Wrap Strip material. Manufactured with 3M’s firestop technology, 3M Fire Barrier Plastic Pipe Device has been designed to firestop non-metallic penetrations in fire rated assemblies, helping prevent the passage of smoke and flames in the event of a fire.  3M Fire Barrier Plastic Pipe Device is used for new and retrofit installations and will accommodate nominal 6 in. (152 mm) schedule 40 waste and vented nonmetallic penetrants.
