Thermo-12 Gold is pre-formed, high-temperature, abuse-resistant calcium silicate pipe insulation and block insulation. It has exceptional structural strength, and can be used on operating systems that reach 1200°F (650°C). Thermo-12 Gold is composed of hydrous calcium silicate and is made with XOX, a proprietary formula and process that inhibits corrosion to the outside surfaces of pipe and equipment. Calcium silicate insulation is inorganic, noncombustible, asbestos-free and meets or exceeds the physical and thermal property requirements of ASTM C533, Type 1.
